Giants is a photography and film project commissioned by the Wyss Academy for Nature as part of the Gigantes de la Amazonía initiative. Through a photographic series and a five minute short film, the project follows Yine youth in the Peruvian Amazon who are working to protect ancient trees threatened by growing extractive pressures, highlighting their ecological importance and their role in sustaining Indigenous communities and biodiversity.
